About Dr. Summers: completed pediatric radiology training at the Penn State University Hospital at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He joined Windsong in 1994 and became the President of the practice in 2012. His special interests in Medicine/Radiology include patient service and the ‘triple aim’ strategies of improving the patient experience as well as reducing costs of care and improving WNY population health. His personal interests include traveling with friends, varied past and present affiliations with Niagara University, and spending time with family.
“I became a doctor/radiologist because I was a good student of the sciences as a young man and was influenced greatly by my family physician who was a caring man who practiced into his eighties. I chose radiology due to the intellectual challenge that presents with every case. The high-tech part of the job is also stimulating, and today’s practice of radiology still allows for significant direct patient contact.”
