Dr. Al Bashir is a U.S. Board-Certified General Surgeon specialized in Breast and Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. With more than 25 years of combined clinical, academic, and leadership experience in the United States and the United Arab Emirates, he is recognized for his expertise in multidisciplinary breast cancer care, surgical innovation, and postgraduate medical education.

As a leader in breast health, Dr. Al Bashir directed the establishment of the first internationally NAPBC-accredited Breast Care Center at Tawam Hospital, a Johns Hopkins Medicine affiliate, and co-founded the annual International Multidisciplinary Breast Conference and Oncoplastic Workshop in collaboration with the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
