Jolene Wilson and Lynn Hansen, Mother Daughter Breast Cancer Survivors & Major Donors, Honored at Cocktails & Caring

Dr Raja Cheruvu, President of the Windsong Cares Foundation, presented bouquets to Jolene Wilson and Lynn Hansen at Cocktails & Caring, our launch event on September 15, 2022. Through their fundraising efforts and generosity, this mother daughter team of breast cancer survivors have donated $13,000 to the Foundation to date. Jolene and Lynn shared their personal breast cancer journeys that inspired their commitment to helping sister cancer warriors. Thank you, Jolene and Lynn!

Making each patient a priority, every day

“If a patient has dense breast tissue, they may benefit from additional screening with ultrasound. This is especially beneficial for those with increased risk. Screening ultrasound does increase false positive rates, and therefore the risk/benefit should be considered with your doctor.
