Dr. Wilson attended University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He completed his residency and fellowship in Interventional and Vascular Radiology at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Dr. Wilson focuses on fibroid embolization and peripheral vascular disease and has devoted the past five years of his professional life to performing complex peripheral interventions for limb salvage. Dr. Wilson was invited as faculty to participate in the training of interventional radiologists in Dar es Salaan, Tanzania. He served on the faculty at the University of Rochester from 2007 to 2016.
Dr. Wilson’s interest in direct patient care and a Nigerian interventional radiologist and mentor at the University of Rochester helped steer his interest in the field of interventional radiology.
Dr. Wilson is the founder of a mural project called WALL/THERAPY, an international renowned mural art project based in Rochester. There are over 120 murals throughout Rochester, NY.
