Founded in 1987, Windsong is the largest outpatient diagnostic imaging provider in Western New York, and provides leading breast imaging, interventional radiology, diagnostic imaging, genetic counseling and breast surgery. Our full-service practice is staffed by a team of board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologists, and is consistently recognized for excellence and innovation.
Windsong provides high-quality, multimodality imaging services through six American College of Radiology (ACR)-accredited outpatient imaging centers. We are known as a leading authority on women’s imaging and breast care, and we were the first outpatient breast care program in the region to achieve accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers.
Physician Engagement
We offer development opportunities across the organization to get involved, give input, and have a voice in practice activities. Annually, a survey is administered through Gallup to gather feedback from our physicians. This allows Windsong and US Radiology to focus on radiologist workload and lifestyle, partnership opportunities, peer relationships, communication, and practice governance
Clinical Governance Board and Committees
The Clinical Governance Board (CGB) is a group of physician partners that are responsible for leading the clinical decision-making of the practice. They are tasked with making key decisions to continually improve patient care and business outcomes. The CGB and supporting governance committees also provide physicians throughout the practice with opportunities to get involved in key projects and initiatives that align with: clinical advancements, business growth, expansion objectives, and physician engagement.
