Windsong has recently been certified by DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc., for their proprietary TRUMATCH® Personalized Solutions for their SIGMA® Fixed-Bearing Knee System used for total knee replacements.
The process begins with a referral from the orthopaedic surgeon to Windsong for a CT scan from the hip to ankle, per a defined TRUMATCH Solutions scanning protocol. Once the CT scan is completed at Windsong, the data is processed utilizing DePuy’s proprietary software which will then allow the TRUMATCH Solutions design team to create a three dimensional model of the whole leg structure, which will be combined with the patient’s information and the surgeon’s surgical preferences to create a personalized patient proposal.
