Why I became a Doctor / Radiologist
Dr. Shields thought about going into engineering while in college, however after making the decision to go to medical school, he gravitated towards radiology, given its technology driven focus allowed for direct patient care. As Dr. Shields said, “I enjoy solving the complex diagnostic problems that radiology offers and knowing that you can make a positive difference in someone’s life.”
