About Dr. O’Donnell: Dr. O’Donnell has been a board certified general surgeon since 2000. She received her BS in Biochemistry from the State University of New York at Binghamton and attended Saint Louis University for a postgraduate degree in Pharmacology. She graduated summa cum laude from the Buffalo School of medicine and Biomedical Sciences where she obtained her medical degree. While receiving her surgical training, Dr. O’Donnell participated in funded research and produced publications and abstracts. Multiple awards have been granted to Dr. O’Donnell. She maintains active memberships with the Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Breast Surgeons and participates in the nationwide Mastery of Breast Surgery Program.

Dr. O’Donnell’s commitment to patients and community is evident by her lead on Windsong Breast Care’s Virtual Question and Answer session for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients. This one of a kind session affords breast cancer patients and their families the opportunity to view the sessions within the comfort of their own home addressing a brief overview of important services including radiology, breast surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology and genetics.

During her time off she enjoys sailing, gardening and traveling.
