Job Title: Temperature Taker

Present a positive and professional first impression to all patients and visitors. Responsible for all clerical components of Temperature Taking to ensure efficient operation of the Temperature Taking process.
Professional, positive and caring attitude throughout entire patient encounter.Work with and assist a wide range of individuals in a variety of situations.Listening to and resolving patient questions, comments and concerns.Responsible for all aspects of Temperature Taking.Ensure quality and continuity of patient care by accurately completing data entry.Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with patients and their family members, team members, supervisors, managers.Establish and maintain good rapport and a positive attitude towards all other departments, patients.Maintain an organized and efficient work area.Attends all department meetings to stay abreast of department goals and policies.Adhere to and uphold all HIPAA and New York State regulations regarding patient privacy as well as standards of ethics set forth by Windsong Radiology Group.All other temporary and/or permanent duties as assigned by Manager.
High School diploma.Excellent customer service skills with ability to professionally communicate orally.
Basic lifting as required, not to exceed 25 pounds.Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time with the ability to maintain concentration and attention to detail.Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and Saturdays as well as ability to work additional hours as needed.
Position is in a well-lighted, fast-paced, clean medical office environment.
Must be able to speak loudly and clearly thru PPE for patients and visitors to hear and understand directions.
Must be able to squeeze no-touch thermometer to register temperature.
Must be able to read temperature number and decipher if it is within acceptable range.
Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with the essential job functions such as stationary, mobility, convey and exchange information, identify patients.
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as mandated by the Department Health such as face mask, face shield, surgical gown, etc. and possibly additional PPE as required by the company.
Manual dexterity to operate standard office machines/equipment such as computers, printers, multi-line phones, photocopiers.
