Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy as well as oversight of company-wide process improvement initiatives. They oversee the day-to-day coordination and efficient operation of key projects. When a new project is launched, they develop a detailed project plan and is responsible for coming up with a solution to any problems that arise. They oversee projects from start to finish, monitoring and reporting on the progress throughout the process. They also are responsible for leading process improvement efforts. They study operational and process workflows and make recommendations for improvement to improve efficiency and patient services.
Oversees key projects assigned by senior leadership from exploration through implementation.
Responsible for new technology, equipment and software research and serves as liaison with vendor representatives, site visits, etc.
Responsible for new equipment installation schedules and transition plans through educational training.
Stays up-to-date on the latest process and technology advancements to automate and modernize systems.
Studies and analyzes workflow and operations across all departments and service lines and leads process improvement by working with department managers to uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
Holds productive, regular team project meetings with key personnel from various departments. Serves as meeting facilitator to accomplish meeting goals.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, within budget and comprehensive project documentation.
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and escalate to management as needed.
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor, track progress and minimize project risks
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Works with senior leadership to identify and eliminate barriers to success and identify necessary resources to accomplish key objectives.
Reports on projects to senior leadership as requested.
Works with senior leadership to prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
Assists department managers in making recommendations for budget requests and documentation to achieve stated goals.
Demonstrates knowledge of institutional regulations regarding patient care, fire and safety, infection control disaster plan and emergency codes and procedures.
Maintains an organized and efficient work area.
Adheres to and uphold all HIPAA and New York State regulations regarding patient privacy as well as standards of ethics set forth by Windsong Radiology Group.
All other temporary and/or permanent duties as assigned by physicians or Administrator.
5+ years of relevant healthcare, business or project management experience.
A bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
Advanced technical and software skills. Competency in RIS/PACS, EMR and practice management.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Process improvement and work flow maximization skills.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to professionally communicate orally and in the written form.
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and effective time management skills.

Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Position is in a well-lighted, fast-paced, clean medical office environment.
Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with the essential job functions such as stationary, mobility, operating machinery, convey and exchange information.
Manual dexterity to operate standard office machines/equipment such as computers, printers, multi-line phones, photocopiers, fax systems and calculators. Stress can be triggered by multiple staff demands and deadlines.
