MRI Preceptorship Program @ Windsong Radiology Group
Program Description: This 8 month clinical and didactic program includes stipend with benefits. Upon successful completion, students will be ARRT registry-eligible for MR Certification.
Eligibility Requirements:
NYS registered Radiologic TechCurrent Red Cross CPR CertificationPass MRI safety screening to allow entry into the magnet room8 month fulltime commitment to program: June to FebruaryFlexible schedule to enable working variable shifts   
Program Requirement:
Complete 16 ARRT required RCCME prior to or within first month of the program to fulfill certification requirement
Curriculum: DIDACTIC with ongoing Clinical Shadowing and Instruction
Beginning Clinical MRI IFundamentals of MRI / InstrumentationMRI Safety and ScreeningMRI Procedures I:  MusculoskeletalMRI Procedures II:  Body ImagingMRI Procedures III:  Neuro ImagingMRI Procedures IV:  MRA & other Misc. cases
Curriculum: CLINICAL
Advanced Clinical MRI – During this time student will solo and log the required 125 procedures across 7 clinical categories (minimum of 25 selected procedures times 3-5 repetitions each) as required for registry eligibility to become a certified MR tech.
