Presenting a positive and professional impression to all patients, assist Radiologists and technologists in all tasks associated with efficient patient flow during exam and exit process through various modalities.
Change patients, escort through visitEnsure positive patient experience while waitingClean waiting areas, arrange magazines, monitor / replenish coffeeClean MR imaging roomsManage clean and dirty laundryMake reminder phone calls to specified patients (enterographies, sedations, multiple studies same day)Assist patients on and off of imaging tables as neededMaintain tidy changing rooms and imaging areas before and after proceduresClean and stock Radiologist reading roomsFill power injectors in MRMaintain communication with patients and front office staff regarding schedule delays and conflictsEmpty recycle bins in Reading rooms and department dailyPackage infectious waste for disposalWork regular weekend and evening shiftsAll other temporary and/or permanent duties as assigned by Administrator or Manager.
High School diploma with 3 years’ experience in medical office support work or customer service role.High level understanding of discretion and professionalism with exposure to confidential information.Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.Excellent customer service skills with ability to professionally communicate orally and in the written form.Basic lifting as required, not to exceed 35 pounds.Must be able to stand; sit; walk for extended periods of time with the ability to maintain concentration and attention to detail.Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, Saturday, and occasional Sundays as well as ability to work additional hours as needed.
Position is in a well-lighted, fast-paced, clean medical office environment.
Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with the essential job functions such as stationary, mobility, operating machinery, convey and exchange information, identify, observe and /or positioning of patients.
Manual dexterity to operate standard office machines/equipment such as computers, printers, multi-line phones, photocopiers, fax systems and calculators.
