Job Title: Medical Outcomes Data Analyst

The Medical Outcomes Data Coordinator plays an important behind-the-scenes role in the organization, tracking all patients that come to our facility for an appointment in our Medical Outcomes system. The key responsibilities of the position include entry of core biopsy pathology, review of and management of BiRads and surgical pathology; and annual collaboration with the Mammography Department to provide information for MQSA inspection.
Data entry into Medical Outcomes health information systemAnnual collaboration with the Mammography QC Department to provide information for MQSA inspection.Frequent interaction with Windsong physicians, as well as outside facilities.Regular use of outside databases to obtain patient information.Maintaining electronic records and logsRunning reportsOrganizing and managing bi-annual physician cancer reviewElectronically scanning relevant outside patient reportsAll other temporary and/or permanent duties as assigned by Administrator or Manager.
Two years of medical office experience, LPN preferred.Must be highly organized with the ability to think critically and independently problem solveStrong communication skills are necessary for frequent interaction with healthcare professionals and physiciansExcellent Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word is requiredExperience with Microsoft Access is desirableKnowledge of HIPAA regulations ideal
Position is in a well-lighted, fast-paced, clean medical office environment.
Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with the essential job functions such as stationary, mobility, operating machinery, convey and exchange information, identify, observe and /or positioning of patients.
Manual dexterity to operate standard office machines/equipment such as computers, printers, multi-line phones, photocopiers, fax systems and calculators.
