Job Title: Courier
Employee Type: Non-Exempt PT
Location: Williamsville, NY

Position Summary:
To ensure success, Medical Couriers should be reliable and professional with outstanding routing and directional skills, and a passion for delivering critical items punctually. The individual will work comfortably under tight deadlines to guarantee items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered.
Essential Functions:
Loading, unloading, transporting, and delivering items to satellite offices in a safe, timely manner.Physically demanding. Must be able to bend, twist and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure orders are complete.Providing excellent customer service skills and answering questions regarding supplies and packages.Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.All other temporary and/or permanent duties as assigned by Administrator or Manager.
High School Diploma or equivalent.Valid driver’s license issued by New York State with a clean driving record.Ability to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.Strong time management and customer service skills.
Work Environment:
Position is split between a warehouse and closed vehicle.
Physical Requirements:
Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with the essential job functions such as stationary, mobility, operating machinery, convey and exchange information.
Manual dexterity to operate standard office machines/equipment such as computers, printers, multi-line phones, photocopiers, fax systems and calculators.
