Dawn Schlee

Dawn M Schlee, B.S.,RT(R)

Director of Women’s Services

Dawn has over 23 years in the healthcare field, with16  in management. She is an ARRT Radiologic Technologist, and received her AAS in allied healthcare Radiology at Niagara County Community College. She received a BS in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix. Dawn oversees mammography, breast biopsy, breast surgery, Genetics and mobile mammography. She joined Windsong in 2001 as a technologist and satellite Supervisor before she served as Imaging and Vascular manager at another facility. She returned to Windsong in 2017 as the Senior Clinical Manager.

In her spare time she loves running, hiking, traveling and anything that is done outdoors year round! She has completed 2 ultra-marathons, 4 full marathons and several half marathons. She is a member of the AHRA, Association for Medical Imaging Management and ASRT, American Society of Radiologic Technologists.

Kay Dekker

Kay Dekker, RN, BSN

Manager of Quality and Compliance

Has been a Executive Nurse manager for over 25 years.  She attained her Bachelors in Nursing, with a Minor in Business and Marketing from Niagara University.  She has a diverse background – specializing in the fields of Developmental Disabilities, Assisted Living, Home care, Hospice, and Breast Oncology.   Kay’s expertise in operations, leadership development, business development, strategic planning, customer/employee satisfaction and quality assurance bring a unique perspective to the breast care program. Kay is active in her community – where  she has been a member of the following civic organizations – Lockport Rotary Club and Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.   She is a 2005 graduate of Leadership Niagara and past board member at Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara  and the Niagara County Community Services Board. She also served on the following  committees – Erie County Alzheimer’s Association and Niagara County Community College Alumni Committee.  In 2012 Kay was recognized in Business First Who’s Who in Healthcare. Kay works closely with the treatment team to ensure the highest standard of patient satisfaction- striving to continually improve services offered, she seeks and obtains new service options, provides community/ provider education and is  committed to ensuring  a positive patient experience at Windsong Breast Care.
