The hardy and dedicated team from Windsong braved the cold driving rain on Sunday, September 29th for the annual American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer at Niagara Square in Buffalo. The Windsong team greeted breast cancer survivors and walkers in the Survivors Tent for the event as a sponsor along with Windsong Comprehensive Breast Care. Team Windsong had 85 participants that handed out 2,000 Windsong Comprehensive Breast Care tote bags at the Survivor tent each filled with breast cancer information and gifts for the registered walkers. In total, the team raised $4,800 through donations and internal fund raising during the year with Chinese auctions and other fun employee events.
