Williamsville, NY— The Eagle House and Windsong have embarked on a unique partnership as they work collaboratively to raise awareness on the importance of annual preventive breast screening. Women who bring a bosom buddy to Windsong will receive a $10 certificate for lunch or dinner at the Eagle House restaurant located at 5578 Main Street in Williamsville. Dr. Anna Chen, Director of Women’s imaging at Windsong shared, “Many women have found that scheduling their mammograms together helps to ensure that they have this important exam annually after they turn 40.” Thanks to the generous donation of The Eagle House women that bring a friend for their exam will receive a discount certificate to enjoy lunch or dinner. Certificates are given the day of the exam.
The Eagle House got actively involved with breast cancer awareness after a younger employee’s mother was diagnosed and lost her battle. It touched the entire staff. The partnership with Windsong allows the restaurant to honor her memory and increase awareness in the community the entire year.
